Mechanics are always on-duty to help you learn. CAT has all the tools you&#8217;ll need for your project.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Build-a-bike for all ages!<\/strong> Youth can log volunteer hours, pick out a bike, and build it with the help of CAT mechanics. Adults in need of a bike can build them as well through our <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lvcat.org\/lvcat\/applications-now-open-for-adult-bike-commuter-program\/\">Adult Bicycle Commuter program<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Help others with their bikes.<\/strong>\u00a0We practice a helping hierarchy, where everyone can teach someone something that they know.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Hone your skills volunteering on a CAT bike rebuild.<\/strong> Donated bikes generally take 4-6 hours of mechanic time to be restored to better-than-new condition. These bikes are made available: to be earned by community members with limited income and to those who make a suggested donation supporting CAT.
