Bethlehem Bicycle Cooperative eNews – Thurs. April 4, 2013

Now located at 1935 W. Broad St. in West Bethlehem!

The Bethlehem Bicycle Cooperative (BBC) is open for Members and Guests every Thursday from 5-9pm and Saturday from 8AM to 4PM.

Today Lee Poole-Smith finished crunching the numbers from the 20 locations where CAT counted bicycles and observed bicycling behaviors in Allentown, Bethlehem and Easton during 2012.  You can see  comparisons of bicycling behaviors in the three cities online at:

Today we offer a FREE helmet for any child under 10 who comes in with a parent/guardian and bicycle.

Donations:

Barrett Ladd donated a child’s Trek MT60 and a Kryptonite U lock.  This bike is a real shifting bike with hand brakes for a small child.  Hard to find.  It will make a great library bike.

The BBC accepts donations of bicycles, bike parts, tools and supplies on Thursdays from 5-9PM and Saturdays from 8AM to 4PM at 1935 W Broad St. in Bethlehem.  We provide a receipt for all contributions and we are a 501(c)3 educational charity under the Internal Revenue Service (IRS).

Right now we are also hoping someone will donate a work sink they don’t need anymore.
