Today:

Steve took off his front reflector on his Raleigh mtn bike since he has a 6 by 2 inch piece of DOT white reflective tape on his head tube.  He also tightened one of his rear red lights, filled his tires, cleaned his chain.  Scott Slingerland swapped out the fork on this bike and replaced a brake pad and brake lever on the rear wheel.  He used all used parts.

Lee put a second headlight on steve’s road bike.  He had to take the rear brake cable and the battery for steve’s first headlight a retro halogen.

Lee and Jay helped Bill Hoffman patch up his tube in his back tire.

Steve filled the tires on the Schwinn High Sierra that is used to pull the bugger trailer.  He filled the trailer tires also and use the bugger to haul the garbage to a dumpster.

Last Week

Steve worked with Esme Montgomery at Saucon Valley Bike putting a new rack, water bottle carrier and getting a second rear red light. Steve then rode behind Esme to Bethlehem and the BBC-Riverport to check her current method of making this trip.  Lee attached a milk crate to the back of Esme Montgomery’s library bike and put the new rear red light on the back of the crate.  Frank Pavlick raised her handlebars and turned them to give the bike a  higher stem.  J. rode back to Hellertown with Esme showing her the back way over Williams Street.
