Bicycle Education for Motorists
Bicycle Education for Motorists

Motorist Education helps bus operators, truck drivers, police officers and other motorists learn to share the road easily and safely with bicyclists. In today's economy, with volatile energy costs, environmental issues and health/fitness concerns, there are more and more bicyclists on the road. Motorist Education reduces liability for fleet operators and answers motorists frequently asked questions about bicycling.

League of American Bicyclists certified Cycling Instructor, Steve Schmitt, brings this interactive presentation to your worksite. The Motorist Education program includes a question and answer session.

Motorist Education is excellent for police officers to assure a practical working knowledge of legal and safe road cycling. Schmitt explains the shared-lane marking and what it means for cyclists and other vehicle operators on the roadway. Motorist Education explains what many cyclists frequently do wrong and how to predict unsafe bicycling.

Fee: $100/hour. Call 484.707.2483 or email Steve Schmitt.
